100% of our future

Your donation to Seen+Heard's programming builds the one thing

young Americans have never had: a national political infrastructure that fights for the 25% of this country who receive less than 10%

of the federal budget.

Giving Levels

If you're going to give to a nonprofit for young people, you should know exactly where your contribution goes before you give it. Here's what every tier funds directly this fall!

$400

Advocate

Funds one young person's full advocacy training for the year, and connects them to a peer network.

$1,000

Ambassador

Fully supports the annual term of one Youth Ambassador, allowing them to lead independent actions in their own community, and recruit the next group of members.

$3,000

Youth Board of Directors

Underwrites a full policy engagement initiative, from research and advocacy training through organized outreach to state or federal officials.

$5,000

The Donation That Builds What Others Assume Exists

Every dollar goes further here because we operate lean. Seen & Heard's remote organizational model minimizes administrative overhead so a greater share of every donation reaches program delivery directly: youth board operations, ambassador training, and fellows program support.

This is not a donation to a program that delivers civic education to young people. It is a donation to a children's policy organization that is building the national infrastructure those programs have always assumed was already there.

  • A tiered youth engagement ladder, from first civic contact to governing board, for young people ages 15–25.
  • Direct policy engagement at local, state, and federal levels through our 501(c)(4) structure.
  • Nonpartisan youth advocacy training delivered through programs in four states and Washington, DC.
  • A Youth Board of Directors with real governance authority, not an advisory title.
  • An operating model designed from day one for national scale.

Early philanthropic investment matters most when it goes to organizations that are building the infrastructure before it exists, not maintaining it after the fact.

Frequently Asked Questions

What Donors Ask Before They Give

  • How do I donate to a national youth advocacy nonprofit?

Use the donation form at the top of this page. Seen & Heard accepts one-time and recurring gifts. You'll receive confirmation of your tax-deductible contribution immediately after giving.

  • Is my donation to Seen & Heard tax-deductible?

Yes. Seen & Heard is a registered 501(c)(3) organization and all contributions are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. A donation receipt will be issued for your records.

  • How do I know my donation reaches the programs and not overhead?

Seen & Heard operates as a fully remote organization, which substantially reduces the administrative costs that consume a larger share of donations at traditionally structured nonprofits. Our model is designed to direct a greater percentage of every gift into direct program delivery.

  • Can I donate to support youth policy advocacy specifically?

Yes. As both a 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) children's policy organization, Seen & Heard directs contributions toward advocacy training, mentorship, and the direct policy access that moves young people from civic awareness to real influence on the decisions that govern their lives.

  • What does donating to an organization less than a year old mean for my gift?

It means your gift is early, and early gifts matter most. Seen & Heard has expanded to four states and Washington, DC, in less than twelve months. The legal structure, program infrastructure, and organizational model are built for the long term. The organizations that last are built right from the start, and this one was.
